Basis for the 1976 film of the same name, directed by Brian De Palma, and starring Sissy Spacek, Piper Laurie and Amy Irving. The film received two Academy Award nominations, one for Spacek (Best Actress in a Leading Role) and the other for Laurie (Best Actress in a Supporting Role). SIGNED stunningly by King on the title page, who also struck a line through his printed name. First edition, with code "P6" at inner margin of page 199. A fine copy, in original burgundy cloth, in an otherwise fine dust jacket, but for two very small closed tears to top edge of front panel.
